| Tree Lighting Ceremony |
| 2008 Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday, December 5 5:30 pm at Fletcher Community Park Warm your hands and hearts while enjoying hot chocolate and participating in the Fourth Annual Town of Fletcher Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening will include a festival of carols performed by Gracious Light Brass and the children's choir from Fletcher United Methodist Church, storytelling, Santa himself and the official lighting of the tree by Mayor Moore. The sponsor of the event is the Fletcher Area Business Association. The event will be held at the Fletcher Community Park on Friday, December 5 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Admission to this holiday event is FREE, however we are encouraging all participants to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to a local non-profit to join us in the spirit of giving. In the case of inclement weather, the event will take place at Fletcher Town Hall at 5:30pm. |
