Rex Cutshall- Keyboards, Vocals
Rex is a lifelong resident of Asheville, NC and has been around music his entire life. At age 6 he
started playing piano, quickly taking to the unique sounds and the rhythms that could make songs
fresh and different, much to the dismay and delight of his piano teacher. Rex enjoys being creative
with music; writing, arranging and recording. Ultimately, Rex loves playing live music. Musical
influences include Chicago, Bruce Hornsby, Sting, Joe Cocker, Kingsmen, Toto, and The Eagles to
name just a few.
Thomas Mitchell- Bass
Thomas is a native of Elkin, NC and began playing bass at age 17. He grew up musically playing
everything from Bluegrass to metal. “Anything with a groove” is what he says. His favorite kind of
music to play is funk and fusion. Thomas has also played music at his church for the last 20 years.
Musical influences include Lynyrd Skynyrd, BTO, Stanley Clark, Led Zeppelin, and Jean Luc Ponte.
Frank Saine- Guitar, Vocals
Frank is an Asheville, NC native son. He began playing guitar and singing in bands at age 12. He has
never stopped since. Whether playing guitar or singing harmonies, Frank enjoys the art of music.
As a writer, producer and artist he is a 25 year veteran of the Asheville music scene. Frank loves
talking guitars with anyone. He is a guitar collector of sorts. He plays and sings with the worship
band at Seacoast Asheville Church and loves seeing folks of all ages enjoy live music.
George Schuler- Drums
George is originally from Chicago and moved to West Palm Beach as a child where he started
playing guitar at age 10. He took some lessons for a while but really just wanted to start a band. So
he did and played continually in bands all through college. He was a lead singer, he played bass,
guitar, percussion …and eventually found his true instrument, ..the drums.
Will Springer- Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals
Will is originally from Jackson County, North Carolina. He received his first “archtop” guitar at 12
years of age and quickly followed that with private lessons and eventually audio engineering at
UNCA. His musical experiences include vocals, guitar, studio producer, event production, playing in
various bands and membership in the Arden Presbyterian Orchestra. When not playing with
Dashboard Blue, he enjoys playing Appalachian Mountain and Bluegrass music with his family.

| Dashboard Blue is a five piece band based in Asheville, NC with 25+ years of professional experience playing and entertaining at venues of all sizes. Always a crowd favorite, Dashboard Blue plays a wide variety of music including Rock, R&B, 50’s, Disco, Funk, Pop, Beach, Country and a few classics.
