State of Emergency Issued – Fletcher Community Park Closed
The Town of Fletcher has issued a State of Emergency (see proclamation here) due to the flooding, heavy rain and winds expected this weekend. Fletcher Community Park has a history of flooding, therefore the Town has decided to close the park effective at dusk on Friday, Oct. 2 and remain closed until further notice. This will allow Town personnel, equipment and other resources to be available for emergency response if needed. Thank you for your cooperation. We will update you here and on our facebook page when the park has been reopened.
The Fletcher Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Fletcher by providing positive leisure activities, and well maintained parks and facilities. We strive to provide experiences that create connections between people and generate opportunities for members of our community to come together.
